Came here for our Anniversary. The place is pretty unassuming. Small simple marble tables. The decor consisted of painted brickwork. The natural light was nice not being too bright but still well lit. We started with the fresh baked bread, which had great flavor paired with a simple olive oil. We got drinks with good recommendations. I had the Mainstay which was a nice chilled lightly fruity gin drink. From there we were treated to a novel take on Italian cuisine. For me the standout was the Mafaldine with Stripe and spicy oil. The textures in the flavors matched what I've come to expect from a nicer prix fixe menu. The real stand out at Pammy's is the wait staff. They are pleasant, knowledgeable about the food and although we liked our waiter Casey, they worked together well and we had a few passing interactions with the other staff too. One of them agreed how ludicrous some of the plates were 'this shouldn't work, but it does!' You should go see the magic of what shouldn't work.

4.5 starts 79 bucks for 3 courses ( on the expensive side for size of dishes, but the quality and flavor of ingredients are a fair trade off) Cool vibe inside. Outside patio youre right on mass ave so enjoy the crack heads talking to to you. I recommend to just eat inside and enjoy the AC and cool vibe. Did 3 courses Dishes: 1)BRANZINO- 5/5 unique flavors and very tender fish. Turnip cake was so good and the fermented element really added to the dish. Highly recommended! 2)LUMACHE: 5/5 very pasta was very dense and has the perfect chew. The sauce was so savory. Highly recommended! 3)PORCELET 4/5 pork was cooked perfectly with crispy skin, but was oversalted. Flavor wise there was no real pop with the other components. It was good. Just nothing to write home about. Worth trying/ but I wouldn't get it again. I will prob come here once a month and work my way through the entire menu. Highly recommended.

This place is so delicious. While we did have to wait over an hour for a table, the food did not disappoint. I got the octopus and lumache. The lumache is was out of this world, one of the best pastas I've ever tasted. So fresh and homemade. The octopus was good as well but literally the smallest portion ever so a bit underwhelming. I loved the sourdough bread that they give for free, it was so good. I would definitely come back but just stick to the pasta.

Delicious food and drinks in a cozy and dimly lit restaurant! Reservations are only for the pre fix menu so we did walk in on a weekday evening and had about a 20-25 min wait. The food was delicious - tried the lumache (gochujang bolognese) which was unique but our FAVORITE was the wild mushroom lasagne over spring onion chutney! The Szechuan peppercorn spiced drinks are interesting - recommend trying since they are unique! Tried the bread pudding and it was yummy - the bread is soaked in the equivalent of melted vanilla ice cream and had almost a mochi texture. The bread used in the dessert is the same bread given at the beginning which is house made and so fluffy

Had a great experience at Pammy's for my birthday! Think: florals, cozy leather booths and wood tables, and natural lighting. Our server was extremely nice and friendly, making sure to accommodate allergies and giving us refills of bread while we waited for our dishes. Between the 2 of us, we tried 6 dishes total: Tuna crudo - very high quality fish and the citrus it was served with was a nice, refreshing touch. The cured meat on top (speck) didn't really add anything though. Rainbow carrots - both of ours' favorite dish. Very flavorful and had a unique texture of crispy silken tofu. Octopus - hands-down the best octopus I've ever had. Just so savory and flavorful. Skate wing - extremely tender with a rich, umami flavor. I wish the couscous on the side had been more flavorful too. Celery root gnocchi - solid but did not blow us away. Had a refreshing but not overly oily bit of spicyness added to the sauce, which added flavor but wasn't too much for someone bad at handling spice. Only had 8 pieces though, which was much less than the other pasta dishes we saw being served around us. Veal loin - tenderly cooked, but not very flavorful. The highlight of this dish were the potatoes that were very flavorful and well-textured: crispy on the outside and decadently soft on the inside. Overall, I would recommend this place for the ambiance, the service, and some really tasty, unique dishes. Just go in knowing that the portion sizes are quite small (even compared to similar dining experiences) for $79 per person with 3 dishes each. Our choices were even more limited to only half the menu that could be adjusted for a dairy allergy. Service 5/5 Ambiance 5/5 Food 4/5 Value 3/5

I loved this place! If you can get past the $79 per person menu, it's kind of a not so hidden gem. I didn't personally know anyone who has ever been but even on a Wednesday I'd say every table was taken. Interior was so beautiful and had a great ambiance. Servers were very knowledgeable and there was always staff walking by or clearing plates/silverware. Now onto what I ate: I ordered the tuna crudo which was so interesting. The fish was incredibly fresh and good quality and had an interesting pairing of grapefruit and crispy speck. I also tried a bit of my coworkers fois gras which came with the most phenomenal foccaia. If that's your vibe, highly recommend. I also forgot to mention the bread they bring you even before your first course is fresh and delicious. Next course, sorry forgot the photo I got the fusilli with crispy Brussel sprouts. It had a cream sauce and was phenomenal, I would order it again in a heartbeat. Lastly I ordered the duck which was good but not my favorite dish. Admittedly I was pretty full at this point and some pieces were a bit fattier and less crispy than I was expecting. The flavor profiles of the dish were nice though. I would try a different main dish next time. Even though I was dying at this point, of course I couldn't turn down a menu with bread pudding. This was some of the best bread pudding I've had lately. Was crispy on the outside so soft and gooey on the inside with a delicious banana ice cream. Also, do not leave there without limoncello. Hands down, also some of the best limoncello I've had as it was so unexpected. It was light and herby and delicious. They sell by the glass and by the bottle. One glass convinced me I needed the bottle. Bottom line, don't sleep on this place!

Wow this place is a must try for anyone in Boston looking for food that's as delicious as it is unique. My boyfriend and I came here for an early Valentine's Day dinner and it was hands down one of the best dinning experiences I have had in Boston. The decor is really cozy and has a great feel for a date or girls night. The service was also excellent and went above and beyond to make sure we had a good experience. The food was delish but I will say it is catered more towards someone who is more adventurous with their food. Not a single thing that we ate was disappointing. My top three were the Lumache, the duck, and if your feeling adventurous the skate wing.

On our first visit to Boston, my husband and I walked past Pammy's, which had no signage except the posted menu and the line of people waiting outside. I looked it up afterwards and bookmarked it as a special occasion place to try. We finally went for my husband's birthday and everything from the food* to the service was top-notch. I'll even go as far as saying the pasta dishes rival the best of NYC (Rezdora, Via Carota, etc.). We stuck to the pastas/proteins on the menu, thinking that would be the best bang for our buck. Here were my favorites: 1. Lumache: Loved the unique blend of bolognese and gojuchang. I had seen this dish posted a lot in the reviews/the waitress mentioned to the table next to us that this was one of their most popular choices, for good reason! It was so good that I didn't want to share. 2. Duck: I love duck but I don't see it featured as heavily on menus. Again, the combo of ingredients was something I'd never think to try on my own but worked fantastically well - cream of wheat, sunflower seed pesto, and dried strawberries. 3. Spaghetti: How did they get the heirloom tomatoes so soft and delicately sweet? I liked the burst of saltiness and the crunch from the roe. Spaghetti itself was cooked perfectly. My husband's favorites: the culurgione (a potato/cheese-based pasta that reminded me of fried dumplings) and the beef tenderloin. We got the "cheesecake" (their quotes, not mine), which was a fresh, not-to-sweet way of ending the meal. Our server, Michelle, was excellent, constantly stopping by to see how we were doing, how we liked everything, refilling waters. *I will say though that the food was extremely salty. For someone with a sensitivity to sodium, I had to get up a few times that night to guzzle water. But it was all worth it! Parking: Some street options nearby but we opted for one of the paid lots along Green Street. Put in "Cambridge Lot #9" and there are at least two choices. Just be careful to not park in the USPS lot.
